LOL..... you can bet in this time of economic upheaval that you'll see a lot more leniency on things like that. The government is a business and the customers that pay it's operating costs are citizens that have jobs and pay taxes. As unemployment goes up and up, cities will lose tax revenue and have to lay off city employees.... such as police officers. You'll see less instances of good, honest, hard working tax payers getting hung out to dry and made to lose their livelihood over such minor offences.
