I am a big Lynch fan, but I never made it thru Inland Empire. I kept falling asleep, and the picture quality is so poor it hurt my eyes.
I really liked INLAND EMPIRE and I think it will look good on blu (despite the way it was filmed).

Mulholland Dr. however would be amazing

Mulholland Dr on blu would be amazing. Very saturated color in that film.

I also love his film, The Straight Story. It would would look great on blu, lot's of great landscape shots.

The entire Lynch collection are my number one wish for Blu-ray releases. Starting with Mulholland Dr.

I haven't even picked up the Lime Green set yet, but it will happen.

Default Lynch on Blu, thank you!

Obviously sounds are very important element on Lynch´s movies. So no doubt that Blu-ray update with lossless PCM sound would be more than welcome!!
Also picture ass close as possible to original would be nice...
I´m looking forward!
Very important movies to transfer on blu, I think.

ok so I saw some of Inland Empire yesterday.

at first I was like wtf for five minutes(before remembering it was a Lynch movie I was watching), then I got drawn in and thought it was very interesting for about 40 minutes, then I seemed to lose some focus and went out for dinner.

what's the deal with this movie

All of his films would look wonderful on Blu-Ray, so I'd say: bring it on . Every film of his has great looking camera work, so it should look good. Too bad he will only make films with camcorders now, but maybe he'll try HD or something.
I also know they already have a HD master of Twin Peaks, so it's remastered from the original film elements. They just need to release the Blu-Ray (can't believe I've never seen the show).

I think it's his most confusing effort, along with Eraserhead. A movie within a movie within a mess.

With Twin Peaks and FWWM rumored at some point, and Wild At Heart, Elephant Man, and Dune released or announced elsewhere, we will probably get all of his movies at some point.

Mulholland Drive, Blue Velvet, and Twin Peaks would top my wishlist but I want them all.

You will love Twin peaks.

Lynch mastered Eraserhead frame-by-frame in 1080p, so we can indeed get a Blu-Ray release. Unfortunately, the movie was self-distributed on DVD, so if you want to see it on Blu, lobby him personally at DavidLynch.com!

I heard Lynch shot INLAND EMPIRE in standard definition. If so, it's going to look as bad as 28 Days Later! I hope that's not the case.

If I could get all Lynch films on Blu-ray, my collection would literally be complete.

Lynch is my favorite director, so I'm still anxious for any of his works to be on blu-ray. Adding to what has been said about Twin Peaks, they have been broadcasting in HD already on CI channel, so I know they could rock blu-ray anytime.

Personally I'd love to see Blue Velvet and Mulholland Dr. ASAP. And I've yet to see Inland Empire (as I was waiting for HD) but it seems like I would be fine just watching DVD--is that right?

Hell yeah, David Lynch on blu-ray is a must.

Blue Velvet especially, and of course Lost Highway, etc.
