I have to take up the mantle on Daredevil as well. It's actually in my top five. I liked it and thought they stuck to the comic pretty well with how they shot it.

1. Iron Man
2. Dark Knight
3. Spiderman 2
4. Superman The Movie
5. Daredevil
6. X2
7. Spiderman
8. Sin City
9. Blade
10. Batman '89

Talking My Kinda Thread!

1."Sin City" -This movie was made near DEAD ON to the comics & is my favorite comic-based flick so far. It is, in fact my "default movie". If I can't decide what to watch, I pop this in & enjoy. The director's cut is great, because if I don't have much time, I can just watch one of the stories!

2."The Dark Knight" -Probably one of the more enjoyable comic-based films I've ever sat through. I really didn't think Ledger would be able to pull off a very good Joker and I'm so happy to find that I was wrong! He perfectly captured his essence and insanity. I'll admit, it wasn't a perfect movie, but it was perfect in so many ways.

3."Hulk"-Not many people liked this one, but I loved it. Ang Lee's Hulk was THE DEFINITIVE HULK for me. Pure, unadulterated RAGE with each and every change! I also loved the way the movie was shot with the look of a page right out of the comics.

4."Blade 2"-The best of the trilogy, if only because it finally had a director who knew what a comic book movie was all about: Outrageous, exaggerated action!

5."Iron Man" -This movie was made with the perfect cast. Very fun popcorn flick! I actually went outta my mind after the credits and kicked the crap outta the seat in front of me right when I heard "The Voice". (Thank gawd nobody was sittin' in front of me! ) I just knew who it was and whom he was playing! It was awesome in the most geekiest way!

6."V for Vendetta" -The most intriguing comic story, yet. A whole lot of story & not alot of action, but what action it did have... FANTASTIC!

7."Hellboy II: The Golden Army" -Who doesn't enjoy watching a demon whoop @ss and in such a beautiful film? And Johann Krauss IS the best new character EVER added to a series!

8."The Mask" -Even though it wasn't as violent as the comic series', I still loved it for its humor. They actually combined quite a few characters in Stanley Ipkiss, having him do the many actions of the different people who wore the Mask in several comics. The sequel didn't need Jim Carrey if they would've consulted the comics at all! How interesting would it have been to have a woman wear the Mask? That's the story in 'The Mask Returns'!

9."Mystery Men" -This movie was hilarious to me. Having superheroes who didn't really have true superpowers was brilliant! They took this Dark Horse title & just ran with it!

10."Daredevil" (Director's Cut) -This was soooo much better than the theatrical version and I always have to give it a shout out because of it. It was a whole different movie & was truer to a superhero's personality. Example, in this version, Matt ditches Elektra to fight crime instead of putting off his "duty" for some "booty". I was upset with the theatrical version, because if you're going to go so far as to put on a costume to fight crime, nothing will prevent you from doing so. Period.

That's how I felt. That it's the closest to a literal comic book feel. Kind of like how they insert the subtitles in Heroes to look like comic quotes.

This is my personal taste, but I'd love to see Batman's costume revamped.

I'd love to see Batman remade in a metalic-iron-steel glossy mirror black armor (like the PS3 gloss). That way, Batman will pretty much be an IRON MAN dark knight, with metalic pointy bat ears. You can give him a cape, but it would be THICK AND heavy looking.

But he's not smooth silky looking like the silver surfer or the bad cop in the terminator 2. He's mildly geometric shaped (like the triangular shapes within a diamond) and less bulky than Iron Man up there. It would be so awesome, with that blue glow in the eyes, too. And you can still see his mouth, if necessary.

Picture a kind of IRON MAN / BRUCE LEE BODY SHAPED / DARTH VADAR type of batman.

NOW THAT is one heck of a fearsome, badass, kickassing looking batman.

DC Comics needs me to revamp the batman.

LOL...

On top of that, his suit would make him nimble and supersonic fast like spiderman. It'll allow him to flip from wall to wall...like parkour.

I gotta admit, I liked the one from the first more. It was more intimidating. The new one makes him too skinny in my opinion. Especially in the neck area.
