I'm not ordering any. I'm going to let them enjoy their one day spending spree.

It's hurts them in the long run more than anything.

They are ahead right now and it makes me chuckle.

I already have Planet Earth on pre-order because it's going to be cheaper from Amazon than it will be locally. I generally don't order from Amazon unless it's something I can't find in the store, or a special case like the 50% sale. My local Walmart is getting to be pretty good at having the new release BD's at pretty close to Amazon pricing. Suncoast is also OK when they have sale prices during the first week of release, and using their Backstage Pass thing to get an extra 10% off. I would order more from Amazon if they offered Prime to people living in Alaska, but they don't

Wal-Mart works well for movies and video games. But I must say I love Amazon. I will definately make a purchase!

I'd bet money those guys are pre-ordering and then cancelling, just so the numbers spike. Talk about desparate. Some folks will do anything to save their precious format. You would think their lives depended on it or something...sheesh!

they need to get a life.....why would anyone spend so much time trying to help a friekin' movie format win over another, especially if its not technologically ideal.

I will probably order 2 titles on saturday.
Training Day and Enter the Dragon.

These arent top 10 titles, but I gues I'll do my part in the top 1000 chart.

Edit: Decided to get the Departed as well (just watched the trailer on youtube).
Edit2: Just ordered these on Amazon.com, I simply didnt want to wait, sorry.

I bought one yesterday, but it was completely on accident. I don't believe in these "mass buying" days. It truly equates to barely a drop in the proverbial bucket, and creates a rabble-rousing atmosphere that neither camp can afford at this point.

I was on Amazon late last night ordering 90210 Season 2 for my wife when I noticed that The Untouchables was coming to BD in may for $20, so I pre-ordered it.

As it is I'm already going to have 8 movies (5 BD/3 HD DVD) to watch in late May.
