Default Buy from Amazon on the 15th.

HDDVD fanboys are dropping big bucks this week to order a bunch of movies on HDDVD the 15th of April from Amazon. I think it would be hillarious if we countered by picking up titles too. Atleast one to counter act the madness a little.
I know it's a little late to drum up something, but better late than never right?

So if you can, atleast order up one Blu-ray disc title from Amazon.com so that we can counter atleast some of their BS! timeframe april 15th-April 20th.

PS amazon has some wicked good prices, no tax and free shipping on just about everything.

Post back what you'r ordering and participate in the poll!

Thanks!
Brian.

I'm ordering up Planet Earth!

PS. even if you just do a pre-order earlier than you were going to, thats ok!

One last note, if you vote for either of the last two options...they may be considered by many one in the same

IE HDDVD Fanboy.

There are apparently more HD DVD fanboys than Blu-ray supporters on this site.

I have Enter the Dragon arriving this week....Ultimate Avengers collection arriving later this month....plus I pre-ordered both POTC movies...

I might scoop up Devils Rejects and Training day or something after reading the review if it's worth it..or not?..

Have Devils Rejects, that is one seriously messed-up movie, in a "can't-pull-your-eyes-from-the-screen" kind of way. That seriously messed with my head that night, which says a lot considering I work with adolescents on a daily basis. I heavily recommend for some freak-you-out viewing!

No, actually I voted as a HD DVD fanboy, there is no option to say: "none, the HD DVD fanbois are not going to make any difference so why worry." or something to that effect.

I myself am looking forward to the molehill sized spike in hd-dud sales from their alleged huge mountain of support for this pointless exercise.

Should be good for at least one or two chuckles.

I say let the HD DVD fan boys have their fun. To be honest, I am really sick of this silly format war and I refuse to participate in anything extra to do with it - especially if it really does nothing to improve the situation. Well I guess I do support the format war anyway because I support Blu-ray. Besides that, Blu-ray is going to have a huge week in a couple weeks and so I am saving my pennies for the week of April 24th.

Default Just my opinion

Don't get mad this is just an opinion.

I don't think that it is neccessary to ask people to counter HD shopping by buying BDs. I know that people wont $$$ away for that. They will by BDs because it's a movie that they want not because HD are upping their sales.

I'm a pre-orderer, I have pre-ordered from amazon until mid May. I try to get 2 movies a wk. If nothing that appeals me comes out I wont buy. So I will definatly not buy just to help match HD sales. Thxz and sorry.
