There are indeed cycles of freezing and warming throughout earth's history. But there is an important difference between what's happening now and those natural cycles. Those cycles usually span thousands of years whereas what we have now has started maybe a century ago or less and should climax in a few decades only. This is very man made and an earth fever this fast (compared to earth cycles) is bound to have unknown and potentially devastating effects.

Some people can not be told they are on fire, even if they see it for themselves.

we might not know the exact effects, what will happen or how much worst it would get even if we stopped today. But that green house gazes exist is reality, that they are affecting the atmosphere is a fact, that they are changing the weather is a fact. I don't believe in insane theories (like this spraying water crap) that could create much more chaos then is already there, but pretending we have no effect on the environment is just nuts.

the truth my friend, as are many of us. the truth is out there. i agree with rischoe. there is no definitive proof of global warming or that we are causing it. the environmentalists can have their "it's the end of the world and we'll all going to die if we don't do something" cake. and they can eat it all by themselves. i believe in little green men more than i do global warming.

You know, we may not agree on video game topics but it's nice to see we can agree on issues that are far more important.
