I just bought it. Not a blind buy for me because I watched the show on HBO and I owned them on dvd as well. It's one of the best ww2 shows made! Well worth the money.

I just bought it too. I thought the sale would be over. I was upset this past week because noone had it in the stores. Thank goodness for Amazon. Free shipping and no tax...can't beat it.

I have only watched it in SD while it was on HBO and I thought it was the most well-made WWII movie (mini-series). I was tempted to buy it on DVD many times. I will eventually pick it up on blu.

Just finished watching this EPIC story over Christmas and if u like this type of movie genre (War) u wont be dissapointed.

It was co-produced by Tom Hanks & Steven Spielburg - cant go wrong with two very good storytellers like them.

Its certainly a replayable movie but its 6 discs & that takes a long time to watch.

Having said that this BD is worth the quality and attention to detail.
