I have a Sony 40v2500 TV, it has HDMI in the back that I intend to hook up to my Sony Blu Ray 550. My HK AVR630 does not have HDMI . I have gone through hundreds of threads here and am more confused than when I started. I was going to use optical from Blu to receiver , then I read somewhere about using the speaker direct inputs on my receiver for better sound. The 550 does have the speaker outputs in the back. This provides the best sound experience? Also, will the Blu ray configure my sound to the receiver or must I redo it myself?
I know, buy a new receiver. Just not an option right now. Unless I find a great deal. Thanks for any help you provide this stressed out female. Last edited by Becka; 01-02-2009 at 04:57 PM. |
