I thought so too, I wan't in a big hurry for Madagascar. I was close to buying Flags of our Fathers for the same price though. Then I saw Resevoir Dogs, couldn't pass it up for 10 dollars. It's my third dip...

Not even close... I'm new to the game so that's part of it.

And there's a lot I'd want yet could do without...

Pretty much. On New Years Eve, I finally got my hands on the IRON MAN Blu, so I'm caught up. I have the two James Bond volumes on my list, but I'm not in a rush to get them. Half my collection I haven't looked at yet, and there's nothing in Jan I want, which is good because I've kinda run out of money. So I'm curtailing my Blu-Ray collecting for about a month. But in Feb there's 6 titles I want to get, 4 of which I have already. So I don't mind a little lag time. Gives me time to look at what I got and to save up for others in the future.

I'm still not 100% sure if they are re-releasing Training Day or not!?!?

I read in a couple of places that they are, so I haven't bought that yet.
My DvD doesn't look too too bad so I can handle the wait, but if anybody has heard or read anything, I'd love to know because for around 16dollars, I can slide right into the all caught up club

Yeah, I too think I'm pretty content for now with what I got. There are some coming out this month and next month I'll be adding though.

Can't stop!!! Whenever I go to buy one, I always get an extra. It's an addiction! I've had my ps3 since release, so I'm almost averaging a blu-ray a week... So can't really ever get caught up... I still haven't seen all of the ones I own already, so I'm not too sure why I keep buying them

I'm getting close, and mainly waiting for the new releases or some of my old favs to hit blu-ray. I can't help but notice you do not have The Godfather trilogy in your collection? That's a classic everyone should have in their collection, IMO.

Just like everyone else in the last quarter of 2008, I've spent alot of money buying 5 or more every week looking for bargains. Looking at my Blu-ray list, I'm about half way there!!! With all the new releases coming out, I will eventually get there.

Everyone has different tastes and actors/movies that just don't "do it" for them. I too am just about caught up on current or past movies that I want to add to my collection. The first 2 Die Hard movies and 2 of the James Bond movies starring Sean Connery are still on my list along with "The Third Man". The Godfather trilogy is lacking from my collection and will probably remain that way unless there is a tremendous sale somewhere down the line. I just never got caught up in that particular movie series. I'm old enough that I did watch the first 2 movies when they came out. I don't remember the 3rd movie - if I watched it, it didn't leave much of an impression. Just me - most people seem to love the series.

Costco has the Band of Brothers for $54.99. While thats' not as cheap as some of the sale prices of a couple of weeks ago I think thats pretty good for an "everyday" price for a brick n' mortar buy. You'd have to pay tax, but you get instant gratifcation without the wait from amazon.com.

You can never be totally caught up. Just when you think you are something else will catch your eye. It's all part of a blu-ray addiction

Who am I kidding? I'd love to add "Casablanca" when the price drops to a more reasonable level and I will continue to add older movies I really like as they become available along with some sales titles. I guess what I really mean is the days of overpaying just because it's on Blu are over. This is a good thing.
