This was a great movie and the BR release is highly recommended. I was watching last weekend with the wife and even she was glued to the set, especially the last 20-30 min of the film. Sound quality/picture quality was very good and a decent plot.

i have always thought this movie was amazing. the plot is phenomenal. i always recommend this movie to people. it definitely flew under the radar imo.

Very good movie... I watched if for the third time, but first time on blu and it was a completely different movie. The pq and se were astonishing. Definately a must for any enthusiast!

Great movie. Saw it in the theaters first day it came out. Bought it on HD-DVD the first day it came out. Bought it on Blu Ray the first day it came out.

I have it on both HD-DVD and BR. It has the most realistic fight sequence I have ever seen. The BR has U control that lets u follow each character thru the fight scene independently. Really outstanding.

I bought it at Blockbuster not too long ago for $20 and just haven't had the chance to watch it yet, will have to this week

I am not feeling the same about it as most posters here. I saw it and the script felt too dense and confused, too many characters and too much politics for a less then 2 hrs film. I do like the actors for themselfs, but something just didnt "click" right for me in this one.

Great movie - just picked it up at Best Buy this week ($14.99), Amazon has it at that price as well.

Well, I'm TV less until Wednesday, but this, Office Space, Boondock Saints, and Miracle at St. Anna are all coming on order from BB/Amzn next week. Looking forward to watching it!

I wasn't a fan of the movie. It's a shame because I've enjoyed what Peter Berg was able to do with Friday Night Lights and Hancock and he certainly brought that style to this, but at the same time even he can't save the bad acting and writing in this. JMO.

There is one thing however that is funny. I got a Toshiba Satellite Notbeook a while back sort of near the end of the format war and it has a big sticker below the keyboard advertising The Kingdom, so I constantly get bombarded the image almost everyday.

Going back to the original topic however IMO Universal is the best next to Disney in terms of delivering top notch PQ and AQ releases. I don't think this one would be any different.
