i'm not naming crap just to sit and spew names of crap. first off, nothing on my list is crap. secondly, a lot of the people on my list had dvd releases and certainly could have blu-ray releases. in fact i mentioned the fact that edie brickell and new bohemians have recorded a lot of their shows. especially their shows at club dada in dallas back in june of 06. it was professionally done for a release that never panned out. they still have the tapes and such. they could certainly do a blu-ray.

Some of these titles wouldn't benefit much from high definition, but nevertheless I would buy them on Blu-ray because of improved audio and disc navigation.

The Beatles - Let It Be
Concert for George
Concert for Bangla Desh (George Harrison, Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan)
Rolling Stones -Gimme Shelter
Rolling Stones - Live at the Max
U2 - Vertigo
U2 - Live at Red Rocks
U2 - Zoo TV
U2 - Go Home - Live from Slane Castle
U2 - Elevation Tour
U2 - PopMart Live
The Eagles - Farewell I
Depeche Mode - One Night In Paris
R.E.M. - Tourfilm
R.E.M. - Perfect Square
R.E.M. - MTV Unplugged
Nirvana - MTV Unplugged
10,000 Maniacs - MTV Unplugged
David Bowie - Reality Tour
David Bowie - Serious Moonlight
David Bowie - Glass Spider Tour
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust
Matchbox 20 - Show
Fleetwood Mac - The Dance
Queen - Live at Wembly Stadium
Queen - Live at the Hollywood Bowl
Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert
INXS - Liive Baby Live
Collective Soul -Home
Collective Soul - Music in High Places
A-Ha - Live from Valhall (These guys are alot better than the U.S. music press has given them credit and have continued to record in Europe well beyond their handful of American hits in the 1980s)

The Killers - C'mon already you guys are awesome live.

If any of you guys like "Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers," the Sears Exclusive, two-part "Soundstage" perfformance is a steal at $24.99. It is a fantastic BD.

If you like Coldplay, Radiohead, and the rhythms and beats of Linkin Park, you'll like Mute Math. I really wanted to get their DVD, but I think it only had PCM 2.0. They sound awesome, and supposedly, they are even better in concert.

I'm hoping for a blu-ray release from Extreme from the recent Saudades de Rock tour.
As the original poster said, Aerosmith would be cool, somthing from the last 10-15 years for me.
Dire Straits from the amazing Live in '85 tour would be awesome.
