Blu-ray has brought up a lot of questions I never asked before, like why are DVD cases so big? They're almost twice as big as the discs they hold.. why use those extra resources?
Granted, the blue plastic turned me off, but that's just because I don't like blue. I thought maroon looked better on the inferior technology.. or better yet, no color at all. Let's make the cases as small as possible and cover every inch of them with artwork. None of this "HD/BLU-RAY/AWESOME EXPERIENCE" stuff cluttering our stuff. But then again, that would keep the normal shoppers from being able to tell the difference. It's kind of like those big annoying signs that say, "CAN'T USE IN NORMAL DVD PLAYER, NEED SPECIAL BLU-RAY PLAYER." |

Yeah, like on the Sleeping Beauty slipcover. That one looks so nice I took it off b/c I didn't want it to get damaged.
