I would like to see more content coming from SCEJ, available for PAL/US stores, simultaneously that is. Echochrome and The Last Guy are pretty rad, I'd like to see them continue developing games of this level.
I'm not sure what and how cross-game invites work, if someone wouldn't mind explaining to me what this is, I wouldn't mind. I'd love to just have one user account to access any regional store, rather than having to sign out of an account into another one, just to check out some content that isn't available in my region. The likely hood of this happening is slim to none tho'. |

More PS1/Ps2 (playable without having a built in compatibility) games.
Having a ball right now with Suikoden. More original games like Flower. I'd specially like some kind of large catalog subsciption based video streaming/ download possibiliy, akin to Netflix or Blockbuster. The PSN videostore is nice, but it kinda pales in comparison of a sub based system at $16 a month where you have unlimited DLs ![]() It really doesn't replace Blu Rays to me, it's more of an impulse thing like "hey, let's watch something we've never seen tonight". And it would really complete the system I think. An audio store would be cool to have as well. An improved and integrated (in games) invite/ comm system with other players across games would probably be nice (although I'm not much of an online multiplayer person past MMORPGs). Oh, I was thinking that an online database maybe PSN based keeping track of your DVDs, games and Blu Rays would be nice. Oh, Divx 7 compatibility with mkv playback, but that's more of a PS3 thing, not really PSN directly. My 2cps ![]() |

Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you look at it) SCEE have got much higher standards for PSN releases than SCEA, so SOCOM and SSFTHDR were delayed because they weren't up to SCEE standards. |

OK I knew about demos my bad. Let me try this again. Any free games that are not demos of games that have not come out yet? I don't know, like Pac Man. I saw on another post about logging in as a Hong Kong user name and there were free games. Did not know if we had anything like that in the States?

I would love to be able to search which of my friends have certain games via XMB.
Users should be able to make a list of games they own (a feature already on playstation.com) via the XMB. There could also be a temporary status for games that are rented or borrowed. It would be a lot easier than checking the trophies of 33 friends currently online to see who's played a certain game. Even then, sometimes I find out they've sold/traded it or only rented it once 3 months ago and wouldn't be able to play with me anyway! ![]() This could work for disc and downloadable games, but the currently renting status would only apply to discs. Let's say I want to play (random online multiplayer game disc). From the XMB, I could insert the disc and select: game > (random online multiplayer game disc) > triangle > search friends Then a magical list of PSN friends would pop up saying something like: PSNfriend83 ... owns ... 12% complete SomeRandomChick ... owns ... 85 % complete xAWESOMExDUDEx ... owns ...100% complete whoISthisguy ... owns ... 38% complete C00LPERS0N ... renting ... 53% complete Then I could select their PSN names and send invites so PSNfriend83, SomeRandomChick, C00LPERS0N and I can play (random online multiplayer game disc) and live happily ever after! ![]() |

I have lots of games that I rarely play except when people come to my house, etc...I'd like to be able to list all the games I own, then when updates/DLC/whatever come out for those games, there will be a message on the XMB letting me know. That way I can not only stay up-to-date on new features for games, but not have to sit through a long patch with all my buddies wanting to play the game. There could even be an option to automatically download these patches (not paid DLC of course) in the background, effectively reducing wait times to zero! |
