Default Building a wall to partially enclose a basement home theater

Which means I will need to add a wall.
I was in the same boat as you with regard to adding a wall or not. I ended up adding one from the wall with the screen to the first support pole, and I'm glad I did. I think it directs the sound within the listening area better, and gives the space a cozier feel without completely enclosing the room. Check out this link: http://www.finishabasement.com/progr...n_decision.htm. There are pictures of that it would have looked like with a full wall, 1/2 wall, and no wall. There is also a top-down view of the floor layout, and more views of the theater area at: http://www.finishabasement.com/desig...n_software.htm and thoughout the site.

Since your room is a similar shape and layout as mine, this may be helpful for you.

Default 1080P projector and 100" screen

You got me thinking about it. What is a good 1080p projector these days? What are the logistics in setting something like that up? Cost? What about a 100" screen?
I have an Epson Powerlite Home 1080P projector (under $2k), and a 102" Carada bright white screen (~$800). I LOVE my setup, and I'm glad I didn't settle for less. Setting up the projector was pretty easy, although the ceiling mount was a little tricky. I ran an HDMI cable inside the wall before I drywalled over it. That made things easier.

The screen was a snap to put together and hang, and both pieces together were still cheaper than a 70" screen- and much larger!

Definitely the way to go IMHO.
