That is a tough one to forget. Caruso's career looked so bright before he left NYPD Blue and now he is a frakking cariacature.

Much as we'd love to list favorite cheesy network and cable shows, if you read the linked article, you'll notice EW was picking the 25 Cheesiest SYNDICATED Shows (of which there was a particular glut from 1987 to 2001)...

And they seem to be limiting themselves to "Knight Rider in a <insert>" babe-action, so it's not likely their memory extended to "Small Wonder", "Superboy", "What a Country!", "Robocop", "Friday the 13th", the syndicated 80's "Twilight Zone", or "War of the Worlds: the Series".

yes!
it's so funny thinking about this show now, because i can remember an episode where they referenced "evil dead" heavily... didn't know it at the time, but can now see it.

The first one was pretty cool when they showed Freddy's origins with the parent burning him alive.

As for the actual list, I actually liked a good portion of them: She Spies, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues, Andromeda, Hercules, Xena, The Adventures of Sinbad, Baywatch, Renegade, Beastmaster, and Earth: Final Conflict. They were fun. And there's nothing wrong with something just being fun.

As for some of the others people have mentioned, I seem to have liked quite a few of them:

War of the Worlds: The Series
Friday the 13th: The Series (I actually thought they were pretty creepy though the fact that were only on late Saturday night might have helped)
Robocop: The Series (heck, it was better than the sequels)

As for someone's comment on Lost. It may not be cheesy (although you can't tell me the early Hugo flashes weren't cheesy), but it sure is crappy. I endured Season 1 and part of Season 2. I tried to give it another shot when Season 3 showed up on Blu-Ray. But I still don't see why people like the show so much. It's like watching paint dry, only without the excitement.

I've also lost interest in 24 this season since it just seems like a repeat of every other season. My interest was waning last season, as they regurgitated plot elements from previous seasons. Now it's gone completely. Give Chloe her own show. I'd love to see that.

Cheesy shows can be a lot of fun. Farscape had its cheesy moments but was still a really good show to watch. Brisco County was the same. Anything with Kevin Sorbo is pure gold. Or the Hoff.

Can't remember the cheesiness. Just remember it being amazing and the ps1 game sorta alright.

I haven't seen any of those 25 cheesy shows. My life feels devalued. =/

From that list, I haven't seen a single episode of any of the 25 shows mentioned. Guess I wasn't missing much?

Anything by Tyler Perry is extremely bad. I don't know how TBS can air such garbage.

You are actually probably better off as a human being for not seeing any of those top 25.

It was certainly cheesy, but it made all of our geek hearts happy.

As previously mentioned the 3rd season was awesome, and the episode where they had "Fax Modem" and "Data Nully" also kicked ass.
