Unhappy Why so few TV shows?

There doesn't seem to be anything worth buying in the way of Blu-ray TV shows at the moment.

The main thing I'm waiting for is Desperate Housewives. I see that season 3 is out on DVD over in the states but they obviously didn't think to make a Blu-ray version concurrent with the DVD release. I don't know if there's even one planned. I have DVDs for season 1 and 2 but I don't think I'll buy season 3 on DVD if there's any chance of a Blu-ray release, and since it's Buena Vista / Touchstone, they're Blu, aren't they?

It's nice that Lost, Smallville and Weeds have Blu-ray released, though I'm not a fan of any of those. I'm waiting for Family Guy, Heroes, and like I said Desperate Housewives.. now I could go on listing more shows I want to see, but there are already many "I wan't ... on Blu-ray threads out there" and that's not what I wan't this one to turn in to! My point is it's a long list and zero of them have been made for Blu-ray so far

Why are they still making DVDs for new TV seasons without bothering to make a Blu-ray version? Why are they still sitting on their hands with TV? Why haven't I heard of any TV shows coming to Blu-ray that's actually made me wan't to bother buying them yet? The focus seems to be almost completely on films.
