Man, good stuff, but there are WAY TOO MANY catalog titles that I would like to get coming out over the next few months.

I will likely hold off on a lot of them and wait for some kind of eventual sale or something to stock up.

A lot of them are great movies, but I already have them on DVD. As much as I would love to upgrade all of them ASAP, the cost really adds up quick.

Here's to hoping for some good sales coming up soon!

The extended cut was the anamorphic reissue from 2007. It's a 2-disc DVD set. The theatrical cut is 104 minutes and is not on the 2007 DVD. It only has the extended cut which is 130 minutes and fleshes out the story and characters a little more.

The 2007 DVD does have both cuts. So says the box and when you select play from the main menu, it prompts you to choose which version you would like to watch.

I hope the Blu-Ray is the same.

That is true, it would look good because it's very colorful, but IMO the end sucked.

Basically it's the "Something MORE About Mary" edition for BLU. Cool fliick. Just wish they would release "Kingpin"(not the miniseries, the Farrelly film!,with extras too) also on Blu! Fox owns MGM and should release BOTH!

I had no idea about the extended cut. Hopefully Fox releases the BD with it, which they should.

If they release Kingpin, it better include both versions as well. The DVD version disapointed me since it's only the extended 'R' rated version. IMO the stuff they added in did nothing to help the movie, and the original PG-13 version is better. I hope that version becomes available on Blu-Ray.

There's Something About Mary will be added to my Blu-ray library. It's a great film. I'll pass on Big, I find it vastly overrated.
