Default There's Something About Mary and BIG / May 2009

Also, this would normally go in The Rumor Mill (so salt accordingly), but our industry sources are telling us that Fox and MGM are getting ready to announce more new catalog Blu-ray titles in the weeks ahead, including The Princess Bride (reportedly due on 3/17), along with Big and There's Something About Mary (expected in May).

Buying Big for sure. I really love this movie.

I enjoy TSAM as well but own the DVD and can't remember the last time I watched it. Maybe I'll pick it up as part of a BOGO but no hurry

And of course I'll be getting Princess Bride

I wonder if Big will be the theatrical or extended cut. It would be nice if it offered both cuts via seamless branching. I really do love the movie a lot and never tire of it. Another fave that would be great on blu would be My Cousin Vinnie. Hope it isn't too far behind.

The Princess Bride and There's Something About Mary eventually for me, but no real rush. I can pass on BIG.

I didn't even realize there was an extended edition of Big. Anyone know how much / what was added?

There's Something About Mary has the potential to look incredible on Blu. I don't think I've ever seen a movie with such a vibrant primary color scheme throughout.
