Transformers 2 looked cooler than Star Trek. But I think both are future Blu-Ray Buys 4 sure.

I am a HUGE Treker and while I plan to see the film I won't be seeing it as movie that fit into the Star Trek timeline, just too many things wrong with it. Age of the characters to start with, characters being there on this first misison that should not be there and so on. I see it more as an "hommage" to the original crew. Should still be fun to see and Sylar as Spock look's amazing.

It's not meant to fit into the timeline. It's a reboot just like Batman Begins.

WOW! The Transformers trailer looks wicked awesome. The action looks like it is going to be HUGE! The Star Trek trailer also look pretty good and got me a bit excited for the film.

Yeah but they could have make the reboot a little bit more carefull like IMO, still it does look like a fun movie to see.
