Not the weakest whatsoever...... but you could move them to the rears etc..... I just think for the most noticeable improvement you'll want to address the area that handles the majority of the audio, which is the front sound-stage........

Rears: Klipsch S-1's
Sub: Velodyne DPS-10
Since you mentioned you are on a tight budget, the Klipsch F-1s match the rest of your speakers and MSRP is $550 per pair. I'm sure they can be found for less than MSRP by now. But first, I would try what has already been recommended with repositioning your current speakers. Also, have you calibrated them with the Audyssey auto speaker setup or an SPL meter?

I have calibrated with Audyssey a few times, but not with a meter. I think that since I am "choking" my system, it is affecting the Audyssey readings.

It depends. Have you heard the Monitor 50's compared to your current speakers? The Monitor 50's and CS2 can be found cheap but that doesn't mean a thing if you don't like the sound.

OK, I have these, http://www.amazon.com/Infinity-Primu.../dp/B0002ADEU6, for my fronts. I can upgrade to these, http://www.infinitysystems.com/home/...USA&Country=US, for $238 for the pair and move my curent fronts to the back. Do you think it is worth it to get a 4" Midrange Driver and an extra 1" on each of the Low-Frequency Drivers?
