![]() I've been working on some way to get at least a set of BP6 towers and a CLR2002 center into my system. I think if I sell my stuff locally I can swing it without too much issue. |

Well, got permission from the warden to sell my speakers and buy the Def techs. I'm pretty excited. Trying to sell 'em locally so that I don't have to mess with shipping.
Going to pick up the DP6 and the CLR 2002. I like the ProCenter as well, but honestly the look, fit and finish of the CLR goes better with everything. |

Well, I just picked up my BP6's. $500 for the pair at Flanner's- best deal around outside of ebay! I haven't calibrated them yet, and I'm waiting on the center to arrive (hope it comes on Monday!) I'm using one of my Polk 40's as a center, so overall my setup is kind of temporary. Even so, they sound great so far! Sound is so much more airy- the sound really fills the room. I had a slight issue with my oddly-set up room previously that there was a small sweet spot- not anymore. Once I get my center in I'll take some pics.
Great speakers- such a pain to move around though with that damned sock- it's hard to get ahold of them. I'll update more after I get my system all in place, calibrated and broken in. ![]() |

How about the BP7001SC has anyone listened to those??? I wanted to get 4 of those after a lot of reading and researching on line. But I have decided to get 4 of the Mythos STS's instead based on their footprint in the house and their look's and reviews for their sound. Has anyone listened to the STS's???

What are you even talking about? "Boss" as in bad-ass or as in Bose? If you mean Bose... GTFO. If you mean another brand, have you listened to Def Tech? What don't you like about them?
As far as the BP7001SC- yeah they're awesome. I think 4 of them is overdoing it though. You'd be better off going with some bipolar surrounds backed up by a subwoofer than something like that. Personally, I really liked the BP's sound and ability to fill a room. This isn't to say that I think the Mythos are bad at all (they're definitely not) but I wasn't looking for that kind of sound. |

I was actaully thinking of 4 BP7001SC and the other 2 later for a total of 6 along with a supercube reference. But i will do this with the mythos sts instead. And as for overdoing it......It is better to have a gun and not need it than to need a gun and not have it lol!

I'm sure if it were properly set up and configured it'd sound great, but a much simpler setup would probably sound very comparable, take up less room, eat up less power, and need less hardware. |

Hi everyone, I'm looking to upgrade my set-up from Promonitor800s to BP8B or BP10B towers. I had a dealer which I bought my current set-up from and unfortunately he no longer carries Definitive. Can someone help me out and PM me with a dealer with good prices?

How are you liking the BP2X's. I have been thinking of upgrading my surrounds to those.

Man, now you got me wanting some def techs! I heard some of the super towers last year and loved them but they were outta my price range. I'm looking at getting for the front L/R either BP6B, BP8B, BP10B, or BP7006. Don't know which is best bang for the buck. I like the fact the 7006 has built in supercube sub and amp. In theory, if I went that way couldn't I run those separate from my receiver and have my receiver take care of the other 5 speakers? This would give me loads more bass combined with my sub.
