so get her a new tv and sound system...and then what, and universal remote? Kind of a cruel joke don't you think? "hey grandma, here is your new tv and receiver, not just push this, then this, then this, then this, then this, then this....and your good to go!!!". Make it as easy as can be for her. Go to a local store and ask about any open item/display items you can buy, it'll be used in the showroom, but for what were talking about should be ok I would think.

I mentioned the sound system to my mom.... she told me the same thing, that it would be to much for her to operate.

So either I am going to scrap the idea.... or see if I can find a system that I could easily show her how to use.

amazon has a 32 inch sammy for 550. i belive it's the 32a450
