![]() I agree with the consensus in that QoS will sell better on Blu but Twilight will take DVD. I can't believe the hype for Twilight; I heard from 2 sources that I tend to agree with that the book is not good and the movie is not (granted this has mostly to do with taste). But to each his own I guess. |

QoS will of course have the highest overall sales in the long run (it will still be selling years from now everytime they re-release the Bond movies in whatever new version/format). |

Are you a teen girl? Can you really say it's a bad movie when you're not the target audience? Didn't think so...
Anyways, I would say Quantum of Solace. Like some have said, more of the target audience for QoS have a BD player. Also, it's a James Bond movie, so it will sell plenty based on that fact alone. I don't plan on buying it right away, but I will someday. |

Tough to say. I know a lot of people feel QoS is really awful, myself included, so Im just not sure how well that will sell. Then again, Twilight is some emo romance vampire movie. I cant see the kind of people that would care about Twilight being the type to invest in home theater equipment. some will of course, but not a huge amount, so either way I dont think either will be huge on BD, but Id have to give it to QoS. The movie sucks, but it's still Bond, and Bond sells.

On blu-ray it's hard to say, initially I would imagine Bond would, especially since it's not a timed exclusive.
Also I'm not sure how many people buying Twilight are big high-def fans, I'll be buying it...but only because my fiance wants it, and I'll be buying Bond for myself. So...in the end. I think Twilight will destroy Bond on DVD, but they'll be about even, maybe Bond ahead a bit on blu-ray. |

I purchased both and I'd have to go with QOS selling better. Both movies I thought were good both nothing great by any means. Bond appeals more to the type that buys home theater equipment as blu-ray isn't full blown mainstream with the public yet. The cliche' on Twilight appealing to mostly teens though...i'd disagree....I know a lot of older females and even males (got dragged to see it by their gf's) that liked Twilight.

On Blu, it'll be Quantum (simply because Summit is such a pathetic studio and probably can only afford to manufacture enough Twilight BDs to meet the orders placed by Best Buy and Target).
But I think Bolt will be the big title next week. |
