I would have too say Punisher: War Zone! Concept was great blooder, more gore, better Punisher actor IMO. But sadly it was terrible.... watched it and sold the Blu-Ray the next day it pissed me off so bad!

Both are classics until about the mid-way point. Then they fall off hard.
While I agree to some extent about Anchorman, my second viewing (while drinking with a group of friends) made me love that movie.

Same for me, I guess you could say. I enjoyed the movie and was OK with watching it, but talk about huge build-up going into the viewing. Geez. It was very disappointing. I wish I would have seen it before it won awards. Then maybe I would have like it more.

Not me, but I know a lot of people that disliked The Signal because they expected a 28 Days Later type of apocolyptic film but got more of a black humor fused with horror kind of story.

The thread is running off course! It's not supposed to be about a movie you disliked in general, it's supposed to be about a movie that you are clearly enjoying that at some defining moment STABBED YOU IN THE FACE!

"I Drink Your Milkshake!" I love that movie.

On topic:

The one that comes to mind is:

No Country For Old Men - All that build up to the end and then poof, nothing. I was just sitting there in shock. Couldn't believe it and was a bit PO'd. After a couple of viewings I've grown to respect it and enjoy it quite a bit now.

Wow No Country f'n rocks!

Another that made me mad would have to be Inspector Gadget. Took 3 kids to see it (yeah popcorn and all - EXPENSIVE) and had to wake them all up when the credits started. Worst movie in history.

Rush Hour 3 made me so mad I walked out. As far as Blu ray...that movie can have 10.1 audio and I would still not watch it .

Independence Day - When Jeff Goldblum's character wrote a computer virus that infected the alien technology. Uh... not a chance. Major face-palm.

It wasn't a virus, he just upload Windows in the main computer of the aliens, made their computer crash quickly since they did not have enough RAM to run it

Transporter 2. The movie was not the worst movie ever, but it is not the greatest either. I do own it on blu. The part where the car flies off a jump and hits a dangling end of a crane which knocks a bomb off the bottom of the car that is about to explode. Until that point it was pushing it and that scene just killed it.

hey, i know this is a film that makes you angry thread, but does anyone else get embarrased by certain movie scenes? like they're just so badly done or OTT that you can't watch? (or am i just a total freak?)
Nope. I do. Rachel Getting Married had a scene where Anne Hathaway gives a very long and very innapropriate speech at the rehersal dinner. I just wanted it to end because she was so out of line.

The Strangers. Scary...then more scary....then scarier...90 minutes later it just disappeared with one of the cheesies, most over used cliche endings of all time. I was PISSED.

Haven't seen it, but let me guess...all the men die and the women lives because she outwits the bad guy?
