y are there deadlines for the series in order, i thought the whole point of this new system is that you dont have to play in order.

HOF-City where are you? Youre supposed to play me in series 1 and you havent been on all day? You there?

P.S. I have not had any problems playing league games. Simply go to the schedule page and challenge people from there. Make sure youre hitting challenge league game. If you press challenge exhibition game then yes you will get Veteran mode and NEW baserunning. However if you press League challenge then youll get All Star hitting and Classic baserunning and all the other league settings.

he played 2 games because u dont have to play the person in your first series, as long as you play a person anytime during the season you can play them. So he played me and toefur even though we arent in the first series. That is why i dont understand y there is a deadline for series.

i know what im doing and it goes to veteran setting

pigman sent me MULTIPLE league game invites and it was veteran

it was league invites cause we couldnt pick different teams besides marlins @ braves

then the game crashed after we pick our pitchers

i try to set my lineups and the game resets itself.

i dont know whats going on but its annoying and may be a league killer

I dont know if people understand that you dont have to play the person in your first series you CAN play the person you play in the 25th series

well up to the 15th or so series but yea...you can play ahead and i have not had that veteran mode trouble my 2 games have been in allstar and i have been able to play them just fine with practically no lag

Me and Don are on the southeast coast. Now we had those bad bands of rain and tornados pass through here so i don't know if the weather has anything to do with the connection.

Rain doesn't mess with your connection.. its not satellite, its via wires...

And the league invites are in veteran, but the league is in all star most likely a glitch, no big deal, just play, it will be fixed soon enough.

I might quit, because too many people are whining, just suck it up and play, for crying out loud.

A few things:

1) So if you complete a full series against someone else, say... Series 14. Does that count as your 1 series you need to complete by the deadline? Or do you have to complete Series 1 by the 72 hour deadline (which is now down to 65-ish hours or so).

2) I have no idea what's happening with the Veteran thing. I played CJS234 earlier, with no problems. The settings were what they were supposed to be.

3) lacubs, I'll be around for the night, so if you want to knock out some or all of our 3 game series, just let me know (we're matched up in Series 1).

Only thing I'm whining about is when i get past selecting my pitcher the game quits and goes back to the main PS3 screen. Where you press X to start the disc.

Now that's just with Don. I can see if it does it with the 2nd series when he comes on.

why would they do it like this if you couldnt do any series, it wouldnt make sense

From reading through the game's message boards, the veteran glitch seems to be fairly common, and the game shutting off seems to have happened to a few people as well.

I guess it's a matter of time before they address the problems.

What happens if we can't get a series done. Does it get counted as a loss for both people? If so then I can make it up by winning the rest of my games.

Good question... I was wondering the same thing.

I know I have some control over undecided games, but how much control I don't know yet. I hope there is some way to determine if people were online hoping to get some games in, but their opponent never showed up. In that case, the games would go to the person who was online and waiting. This is the easy scenario.

But what would happen if Team A is only on 1 day before the deadline, and person B is only on the day of the deadline. Both were on at some point, which might imply they wanted to play, but who gets the wins/how are they split?
