Oh I didn't even see this! I don't know, I liked how Eastern Promises ended. I want it to stand on it's own. I REALLY loved District 9 as well, but I wouldn't want a sequel to be made for that since the ending was just great too.

The screenplay was largely responsible for EP being a masterpiece, so I'm glad Knight is back, but jeez loueez, I just can't be excited when they're ditching even Mortensen.

Eastern Promises is one my most favorite films from the 2000's and I would love a sequel, but not like this. Not like this.

Viggo got an Oscar nomination for his performance in the lead role in the last film. Somehow I doubt that will be repeated for the sequel.
