Never played Ninja Gaiden for NES, but i remember TMNT was pretty bad too
As a kid, I didn't know any better and actually won ET a couple of times. It's supposedly one of the most random and nonsensical games around. Sometimes it's actually not possible to win.

Yeah, but nothing compares to when I played The Urbz back in the day. The bit where you have to exercise took the skin of my thumb off with the friction and that is a serious fact. Could barely play my games for days after that. All I have to say is, top that Street Fighter.

I've found that the most frustrating game ever is "You Have to Burn the Rope"

I just can't figure out what to do.

The games being mentioned in this thread are like a trip down Memory Lane for me.

Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball for SNES was the first game where I both threw the controller and yelled at the TV, safe to say that game stuck with me. I found the CPU rallied in the 9th so often even if you were up by 5+ runs.

Fully agree with Mario Kart for the Wii, my friends and I played it and had the same discussion.

When I was a kid I was very frustrated by Phantasy Star on the Megadrive. Took me months to finish it. By now one can get all the help one wants on the net so games are not really frustrating anymore.

Sega Sportstalk Baseball...

the announcers were always way off... use to move the infield around to mess it up:

Infield in, infield back, infield normal, infield in, infield back, infield normal... after awhile it drove you to drink.

You have a good memory! But the animal stand under you at the start didn't put you into seizure... once you made it to him the game just ended. I forgot what did the seizures actually, but remember it happening and oh I hated when you got sent back to the beginning!!!

Damn that game lol

Well maybe he was just dancing(atari2600 version), haha I just played the heck out of that game so it is burned into my brain forever just like the theme song. Yeah, don't jump over the rat or he'll push you to the beginning, lol

Naughty Dawg needs to obtain the license to make a new Pitfall game

I have a softspot for that game and their lack of licenses. It was always fun throwing to different bases randomly and screwing up the play-by-play.

Oakland was dynamite in that game.

Well similar for sure, Uncharted is my favorite game this generation. I'd be down for old school scorpion hopping, vulture and bat dodging, frogs, electric eels, crocadiles.. Swinging action, etc all without the need of a gun. Naughty Dawg creates the most amazing environments

My brother has been complaining to me about MK Wii, I haven't had as much of a problem I guess.
I had problems with fighting Kintaro in MK2 on SNES. He was a piece of cake on Sega Genesis. I could beat the game on Sega at a friends house all the time but when I had it for SNES I couldn't.
