I remember seeing their 82" LCOS a few years ago. VERY nice TV, but I think it was like 15k or thereabouts. That thing was a MONSTER!
Edit: Excuse me, 21k when they came out. Here's the review from S&V if anybody's interested. Places online are selling them for around $5700 now. Crazy how the prices fall on these technologies. Last edited by BStecke; 04-09-2009 at 12:10 AM. |

As for the size, it doesn't dwarf my 96 inch draper screen, let alone my Dakane 165 inch screen, but for a television, that is huge and eats my samsung, well as long as it has those accurate colors of the samsung. |

Standard Def material doesn't look AS GOOD on my FP @ 106" compared to my 37" LCD or 32" LCD, but I still greatly prefer to watch them on the big screen....... I'll compromise some detail etc. (it's the same picture.... but you obviously see more flaws because it's displayed so much larger) for the huge image. |

For $4,200, you could get a fantastic 1080p projector and a screen that would dwarf the size of that 80". |
