We know it's not Godfather. Just saying it started out with good reviews. A lot of movies are "rotten" from the beginning.

I didn't realize I couldn't speak my mind in this thread. I just don't see why 5 reviews and a 8.4 imdb rating is so exciting. Its a nice start and "promising".

i've never been into star trek AT ALL

but i saw the trailer the other day and it actually looks pretty good
i'll be going during the week
no way am i dumb enough to go during opening weekend, or a weekend in general

I am a huge Star Trek, and Sci Fi fan. Watchign this one at the movies, and buying the Blu...no doubt. I will probably take a day off to go see it alone and in peace...I will keep that a secret between us here.

Wow guys after seeing a trailer that looks like it has about as much to do with Star Trek as my left pinkie, the chances of me seeing this movie are even moreso in doubt.

The only Star Trek film I really got a kick out of was First Contact. I liked it because it felt grittier and more like an action film than most Star Trek films.
