To those who have the import, is it the extended cut (like the HD-DVD)? If you're not sure what I mean, here's the differences between the HD-DVD and the DVD.

Yes it is. I own the UK blu-ray and checked it right away when I received my copy. The German blu-ray is the extended cut, too (my brother owns the German release).

Definitely the extended version. Awesome! TrueHD, extended version of the film...me likey! PQ is decent...it's the same transfer as the HD-DVD. DNR is fairly visible, but then again, the faces always looked extremely waxy at the IMAX theater too.

For those that have it, is it region free?

I contacted everyone on ebay UK selling it and all of them said they cant find where the region coding is written on the back of the disc, or they said it was obvious it was region free becasue all WB are region free.

can someone confirm before I buy

To me the rule of thumb when concerning warner releases in the UK:

Warner Bros = Region Free with no questions asked.

Warner/Newline = Region Locked Because EIV handle all Newline titles and not warner.

It has been stated several times that it is region free.
I own it...it's region free.
