I've still got both my LD and DVDs of this movie. The non anamorphic picture on the DVD stinks, but the sound is good. Definite preorder for me on BD. Lossless sound and a HD picture? Definitely.

I would definately like to see this movie on BD soon... Definately one of Arnie's best movies (He should have done more comedy).

This is a bit off-topic, but does anyone know the name of the tango song from this movie? It's an awesome song, and the movie has a killer soundtrack because of it.

True Lies would be an ABSOLUTE MUST OWN on Blu-Ray. It would probably sell better then many D&D releases and would have very good longevity as well.

Remember Simon (Bill Paxton) the used car salesman in the movie? If I could pick a human being to represent HD DUD it would be him

Check out this video --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOaRmOLu21w

Poster child for HD DUD

Not at all... I like Bill Paxton --> the guy can handle 3 women at once (soon to be 4 ?)
You got to give him props for that

I'm just saying the "Simon" character he played in True Lies reminds me of HD DUD:

Just watch the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZOaRmOLu21w

He's a complete coward = So is HD DUD hidding behind Microsoft
He's got to lie to "get laid" = HD DUD lying (TL51) to sell movies and players
He does'nt score much = Neither does HD DUD
He's got a little dick it's pathetic = HD DUD Low bitrates & no lossless audio --> it's pathetic
He pretends to be a spy = HD DUD pretends to be the next generation movie format
He's not worth a bullet = Neither is HD DUD
In desperation, he offers to give away the car for free = Does that remind you of anyone? HD DUD much?

Default True Lies on Blu-ray, Fox you there?

We still don't even have a proper anamorphic version on DVD.

Fox please release this movie on blu-ray.

I also enjoyed this movie. Has some memories.

Working at a camp when I was younger, we had a tornado warning, so had to round up all the kids and shelter them in the cabin. All we had for entertainment was True Lies.

So we played that. To kids not past 5th grade. We had no idea what we would have done when we got to the striptease scene. Luckily, the tornado warning was over by then, and we sent them back out. Good times.

So anyways, it should be brought out on Blu-Ray. I'll pick that one up as soon as it is.

This is another movie that I would think would be an obvious choice to bring to Blu. So hopefully Fox gets on this title.
