Well I emailed them for support over 48 hours ago and haven't heard back...

Will give it another 24 hours then try your suggestion.

yeah i would definitely try using their live chat and see what they say. if they try to give you a hard time, just continue to insist how you shouldn't have to pay to return somethign that was faulty to begin with and came from their warehouse...hopefully they won't give you too much trouble. good luck

I had an email response not long after making my last post, and they are sending a replacement. They are not requiring that I return the item on this occasion.

I know they are Canadian, but they are deceptive in their advertising images (purposely or by mistake I do not know).
I think they are sloppy. On amazon they say they ship from NY but it still shipped from canada. Not a big deal, but I wish they would be accurate.

I bought Defendor from them, they were the only one to ship to US for free so even if Its bilingual, Im happy. For movies only available in CANADA theyre pretty cool!

I've got a really high failure rate on disks from inet. Haven't bought a lot from them (maybe 20 at most), but The Mist froze up in the final scenes (which they replaced), and I have just watched the second special feature "making of" disk on Rob Zombie's Halloween and it freezes up near the 3 hour mark. Of course I am too late for a replacement now because I bought it ages ago.

Compare this to my hundreds of purchases from Amazon with NO probs, and I wonder where they are sourcing their product...

iNetVideo is only the seller of a given product. They're not the ones that made the cover bilingual, the studios did because of a Canadian law that makes them.

Yeah, I love importing Canadian releases from iNetVideo that aren't available here stateside. Their prices and shipping are much cheaper than Amazon.ca.

I've ordered from them and even though they were slow to ship I was pleased with the price and quality. Also, I ordered mostly catalog titles that are not available in the States yet or ever.

I'm waiting for a call from an Amazon supervisor. I've ordered the BD of Piranha twice in the last week (returned the first one to iNetVideo), and the replacement disc was sent by a DIFFERENT 3rd-party seller (this time it was sold by DVDs_Electronics), and they ALSO sent the Canadian version, complete with a different cover, and fewer special features than the USA version.

I'm going to make this supervisor see what the difference is between the versions. Should be an enjoyable convo. :/

I just got $30 Amazon credit, for FREE, as well as the full refund for the wrong Piranha blu-ray.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease, it seems.

I would stay away from this Company, I ordered a Blu-ray from them and they sent me a DVD. The picture was a Blu-ray in sleeve and everything but auction was for a DVD. Beware of them!

I have bought 2 items through iNetVideo, once directly from their website and once from Amazon. Both were advertised as US released, and both came with bilingual covers.

Never again!

Never had a problem with iNetVideo and in my opinion they seem to be a great retailer.

If you don't want a bilingual cover then make sure you do your homework BEFORE placing an order as iNetVideo is a CANADIAN, not a US, retailer.

I know that now, but at the time I placed my orders I had no idea they were Canadian.

Their website states that they have offices in both the United States and Canada. On eBay and Amazon, they always seem to list items under the US version catalog titles, with no mention of them being the Canadian version.

If they are strictly selling Canadian product, then the above practices seem deceptive to me.

In my dealings with them, every item has shown up on time in new condition. They appear to be a Canadian retailer whom specializes in selling to Americans.
