Default buyer beware - inetvideo.com

They advertise English language only covers but ship out dual language ones (not always but sometimes). Then they expect you to return the disk at your own expense (with no later refund for shipping cost). I can only assume if the disk was actually damaged they would also expect the buyer to pay the return postage!

I know they are Canadian, but they are deceptive in their advertising images (purposely or by mistake I do not know).

Yep and they ship outta Canada and are extremely slow shippers for that reason. Avoid at all costs.

I have bought a fair few disks from them and only 2 were bilingual. ONE was advertised as such (The Mist - with only small subtle French text added - so I didn't mind), the other WASN'T (The Bank Job - with huge french text on the cover).

No kidding?! I just ordered a DVD from them last week (Eden Lake for 5 bucks), they were listed as an Amazon third party vendor with good feedback, though.

Yeah they try to pass off Canadian bilingual movies as American, I only ordered from them once and I'm never going to do it again. They didn't take as long as caiman or lilahs did though. Sad thing is lilahs is in the state right next to me!

well 2% of 10,716 feedbacks for one month is 214.32 negatives...Not great by any stretch

No, I would just avoid them altogether. Any business that misrepresents what they're selling because they just don't care AND takes forever to ship your items is not a business that deserves your money.

lol, if it exists, I guess. If you bought it from Amazon and that happens, complain to Amazon. Its against their own policy for sellers to list against the wrong upc/asin and if its bilingual, Its a different upc. i am sure they are considered a big seller to Amazon so not much will be done til alot of complaints are registered

Good point, it is supposed to exactly match the Amazon listing & image. We'll see what happens, too late for me to cancel it.

ive bought from them a few times. i must say they have great customer service, but i wish i never had to use it to begin with. as people have said they have misleading listings for their products on amazon and apparently they don't find anything wrong with it (yes, i've brought it up with them), but they did let me return something i bought from them for a full refund plus they paid return shipping. but how long did it take for me to get that refund? maybe 2 weeks if you buy directly from their site and have a problem you obviously have to go through their own CS department, but like jw said if you buy it off the marketplace amazon will have your back since it is against policy to post products with the wrong info.

if you find something on their site that's an amazing price and you can confirm it's the release you want, i'd say go for it. otherwise, like many are saying, avoid.

Yup, a Canadian version is listed on their website, that's probably what I'll end up with...

the worst part is , they have a canadian site and a us site .. .ca and .com (with different prices)... they also have an office in the US as well ... Wish they would just keep the US to US and Canada to Canada.

Hmm , well I've been ordering from the US .com site which makes the advertising deception even worse.

Being from Canada, I don't have much of an issue with these guys. But I only order from the inet.com site, where they DO advertise the Cdn covers/versions... They should not be allowed to list items on Amazon.com since the UPCs will not match etc. Since they are a a premium seller on amazon, they can actually create listings on their own showing the proper covers, but that would be too much work now wouldn't it lol.

Well, I just played my first ever dodgy disk (and it's from inet). It freezes up in several spots (on both my players). I emailed them, and I expect that they will expect me to pay return shipping on the faulty disk (non refunded) before they send me a replacement.. Hope I am wrong.

I had nothing but great service from them. I ordered about 9 blus from them with the free shipping promo and only 3 had the dual language covers. Them being Canadian I actually expected more of them to have the french and english. The blus arrived within a week too. Pretty fast for free shipping from Canada. I can not complain about this place at all. Great prices and great service.

like i said in another inet thread, they have always paid return shipping for me when i return something to them. if they don't offer to, then use the live chat feature on their website and request it, stating very clearly your reasons why you should not have to pay to return a faulty disc that came from their warehouse.
