Does Spike TV do that too? I taped the last three Star Wars movies on HD off of that channel a few weeks ago but haven't watched it yet.

You mean you dvr'd it right?

I watched them and the picture seemed way too soft. And I'm not talking about just the original first 3 but the new movies looked noticeably worse then they do on DVD unconverted imo.
