It may not be comparing apples (DTS HD MA) to oranges (TrueHD), but the apples taste much fresher!!!

Strangely enough, on every DTS HD MA audio track the full three dimensional spectrum of the soundtracks are ALWAYS better than every TrueHD audio track. Sure, they aren't the same mixes (which has nothing to do with the encoding for Blu-ray itself), but DTS HD MA ALWAYS sounds better. With the 800+ films that I own between DVD and Blu-ray formats, DTS always sounds better! With the exception of The Dark Knight Blu-ray, which is the only existing TrueHD encode that reaches quality comparison to many other DTS HD MA encodes that I've heard. It shows the TrueHD codec has promise.... or maybe it's just the only mix ever created and encoded with TrueHD that sounds good to me?!?!?!

The point that we are trying to make is that from what we all hear, The best action movies always sound better if they have a DTS HD MA encoded track compared to those encoded with a TrueHD track. Is it just a coincidence that EVERY ACTION FILM WITH TrueHD has poor mixing done on it and EVERY ACTION FILM WITH DTS HD MA has amazing mixing done on it?

DTS-MA for me. and it seems everybody else.

Though i will add underworld rise of the Lycans to the good sounding TrueHD tracks.
