I just tried to redeem my digital copy code on the Sony website and it's coming up as invalid. That's never happened to me before.

Mine redeemed on vudu fine, and I believe I started with the always suggested myuv redeem site.

Isn't this Sony? Their titles redeem in UHD only on their TVs AFAIK.

Did anyone mention yet the 4k disc has an exclusive new interview with Besson on it? I didn't know that until I bought it today. Got the standard version with original poster art from Walmart, canceled Amazon order that never shipped.

Has everyone's UV code worked for digital HD copy? I've entered and reentered my code to no success.

I get the whole "The redemption code you entered is invalid" message.

Watching movie tonight... just haven't had that happen with a new movie yet!

I was having the same problem with Amazon. I got tired of delays so I started ordering more from Best Buy. Now I've been having the same problems with them too. I end up having to cancel my preorders because of a shipping delays and then just go to my local store and pick the discs up there. Strange.

FYI - this morning I got the delayed shipping email from Amazon. A few minutes ago I got a shipping confirmation that it's now on its way.

So- the workaround that I had.

1. Go directly to Vudu site at vudu.com/redeem
2. Look up "The Fifth Element"
3. Enter code

Boom! Weird that it worked on there no problem. Movie looks pretty great in 4K btw! Loving it so far

I held out on Leon. Hopefully, the price will drop by quite a bit before the slips disappear. I wonder if any will ship with slips once the exclusive period ends!?

I'm getting excited about UHD. Figure I'll have well over 30 titles by the time my RS600 calibration rolls around in October (hopefully!). Gotta spring for a UHD player and a new lamp soon.....

No, it's still the HDX version... it's to get the code to work for those who couldn't redeem via the sony website.

If you redeem through Vudu, I don’t think it gives you the UHD rights on Sony’s end.

Yes, it’s currently restricted to Sony’s app but when you redeem through them you also get the UHD rights in your Uv locker so once Vudu opens up and starts supporting HDR10, you’d presumably get it ported over. The porting is just speculation at this point though.

I watched the first 30 minutes or so tonight. I'm slightly disappointed but in hindsight my expectations were too high. The recent bluray remaster is so good that the differences are, overall, subtle.

Resolution is much improved in some scenes but no different in others. In fact, even with the recent Bluray, some scenes just seem to be devoid of resolution (e.g. more like DVD quality) and the 4k can't improve on what is a source limitation.

As for HDR, nothing is jumping out at me (which is good in a way, the color grading shouldn't be distracting) but other than the odd scene here and there I didn't notice much difference and I didn't (yet) go back to the Bluray to refresh my memory. Usually even if there aren't impressive highlighting I notice much smoother gradients throughout the image and I can't say I noticed any so far.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to have this release, but my expectations were (probably unfairly) higher. Again, I think it's the source and not any fault of the transfer.
