Pleasure is on this side of the table.
This code is now redeemed, but when I checked it was still good. However, is was for 1996 movie Twister. Thank you for your generosity.

It was also the wrong title, it was the first. But it was there for a bit.

No worries. I just mentioned it so that if you were to post a code for Twister it possibly wouldn’t get burned if someone didn’t need Twisters, but needed Twister.

I didn't even noticed you mention it. I just read as your usual post when a code absconded. It was there for about a minute or two. Shame it wasn't the actual movie though.

Infallible Presence redeemed the code and was very nice to chat with.

Raise your volume knob. That's what it's there for.
Slight spoiler for Nope 2022...

Different movie, but I did that on my last viewing of Nope 2022, and the voices during the part just after The Star Lasso Experience were too dull to hear. Turning up the volume crushed the experience as to what is supposed to be there. I don't want to get into detail, as if you haven't seen the movie, it might give away spoilers... I rewound the scene and turned it back down to the regular level I usually have it at, and I could hear what was being said. I just wanted to have a louder experience with the movie and was disappointed vastly by one of my favorite sequences being out of range once it was turned up. It's very strange.

I much prefer Twisters over Citizen Kane.

Plus, I prefer this over the OG...

Yup.
I gotta agree. It's much better than the original. And I loved the original for well over two decades. Then I noticed some wooden acting... Don't worry about that CatWoman, she's often scratching too many fleas, which can be a grand distraction. Makes 'em a little ticky, too, unfortunately.

The movie theater sequence alone gives this a leg up.
Three decades ago I would have shook my head at this mere idea, but I have seen so many better showcases of effects and the comedy of the original is just too teenage to me at this point.

I'm pretty sure it was Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder who were blind...you're forgetting about the effects; Twisters CGI was far better as well.

You're just upset that the tint wasn't more friendly, or as green, with the injection you're about to give yourself.
[Show spoiler]By the way, it really ticks me off that the UHD of that movie doesn't have the other version with Dr. West injecting himself.

Just want to give the heads-up that there should be a 2-film Steelbook coming out, tentatively in August.

That’s better artwork than their respective individual releases imo.

I was ready to assume that this would simply be the existing discs, but that listing says the 1996 movie now includes Dolby Vision. Could that just be a misprint, or is there a chance they actually authored a new disc (maybe with the original 5.1 track this time, as well)?

If you look at the back cover the grid for Twister just says HDR10.

Maybe, but the UK 4K release of Twister last October has Dolby Vision (and looks great). Universal has distro in Europe, though, so that would have been their master. I'm sure Warner could use it for a reissue here if they wanted to.

Grabbed it. Was hoping to keep it unopened as a collector item, but if that one has DV now I may have to open it and/or buy another copy ha ha.

Original is one of my all time favorites. I've got every version I've known about going back to VHS with the Looney Toons opening. Big fan of the second one, as well.
