So $14.99 at Amazon eh??? What's the catch??? Why the huge price drop?? Still that is one hell of a deal. Too bad I'm nearly broke as I need this and it's been on my Wish List for ages. Last edited by takeasneededforpain; 07-07-2014 at 03:34 AM. |

I agree, the sequels are not worth talking about. Besides, I'm pretty sure it's 3 sequels. Well, maybe 4 since we have 2 different versions of the 3rd sequel since nearly everything were reshot and changed.

Plenty of people return things because they decide they don't like it, or don't want it. I am doing it for that too. amazon really should match up their photos of items with the actual items they're shipping. They have been extremely sloppy lately with not even having proper descriptions, like completely wrong, not even similar item described in "product description". Many region B BDs they sell don't even say that, and I don't mean from a third party = bound to cause problems. We are going on faith a lot when we buy stuff just based on what amazon shows. Best to be as accurate as possible. Besides, I do 3-4 orders a week from them, they can survive it me not liking something once... |

This forum is getting worst week-by-week...
I put in an order for Exorcist and also for Machete. Machete for 5$ is an awesome deal...with or without slip. Great flick. Excellent Blu. http://www.amazon.ca/Machete-Blu-ray...A3DWYIK6Y9EEQB ![]() |

FWIW, I did get this deal and it arrived WITH the lenticular slip. I don't want to re-ignite the slipcover vs. movie war, but I will say that I like the look of slipcovers on the cases on my shelf - but that is just personal opinion/taste. That said, I don't always go out of my way to ensure I have a slip, but if it is supposed to come with a slip, I like to get it. I have had a few come from Amazon that should have had the slip, but didn't - kind of luck of the draw with them sometimes. I guess that is the "risk" you take for the low price deals ![]() |

Clearly you're not a collector so it doesnt matter to you. But some people do like to have the most "complete" edition of something. I.E) that way when a slipcover is missing they feel as if they dont have the proper edition of the film. I myself have paid $30 dollars above cost price of an item just to have it come with original slipcover. |

JIC I'm not the only person who doesn't know this...you'd think I'd know with all the amazon orders I place, but I really didn't...a PSA then.
You have 7 days after your order is shipped to get a PM for the lowest price. IOW if the price of an item drops within that timeframe, you can get the lower price. You need to request it. You may only request the PM once, so if the price drops again within the timeframe after your original PM request, too bad. [Lightning deals don't count, kind of obviously.] The second thing just about everybody knows, and that is the "pre-order price guarantee". I got a clarification though, since I was calling about "something else" ( ![]() The policy is that you get the lowest price offered by .ca between your pre-order time and the ship time. Even if that lower price was only offered for a few hours. This is supposed to happen automatically, re the policy, but I am not totally convinced it always does. See the second paragraph above. This applies to pre-orders too. And is good to know, because sometimes the price drops on the same day your pre-order ships (like for me today), but after it ships. You have 7 days to request the PM. Do not assume it will happen automatically because of the "pre-order price guarantee". This is a technicality/loop hole in the policy to maybe watch for: it is ship time, not ship date. Many prices drop on release day, I'm sure you've noticed, maybe just after all the pre-orders have shipped... ![]() Basically, it means you can order anything new whenever you want, and you will get the lowest price they sell it for up to 7 days after it's shipped. But you need to be aware, and I think you might have to work a bit. I don't really know for sure because I don't have the time to follow the price of stuff that closely, I guess there are automatic ways, IDK. I would almost never notice a price drop in something I have shortly after getting it, because my mind sort of automatically stops noticing "deals" I already have. This is most useful for larger sets of course, where the price can sometimes drop dramatically very shortly after release. I presume because demand was much less than anticipated, so amazon got a good deal on a bunch of stock at the "last minute", etc. |
