I'm thinking maybe they moved it cause of it' Easter Weekend and wanted to see more DVDs. My store also has two bins of candy, plus a bin of CDs. It's like they have bins out the wazoo.

Assuming a code was advertised on the packaging, exchange it for another one. Say the disc doesn't work. The Walmart return counter person won't know that Blus are much more durable.

As long as it has a sticker on it, it should've had a code inside. You didn't get what you paid for, so you should be able to exchange it for a new one.

I bought a copy of Hook right after the March 15th bin reset. The shrink wrap had a sticker on it for $2 off your next VUDU transaction, but no digital copy was advertised or packaged inside. I ended up using VUDU's in-home disc-to-digital program to score one later, which the $2 coupon more than covered.

I don't know if this deal is any good, but I picked up the last copy of Alien: 35th Anniversary for $10 at my Wal-Mart yesterday. I know it's not 7.88, but it's cheaper than Amazon and close enough to 7.88, right?

Walmart Super Centers are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, while regular Walmart stores are open normal business hours.

Walmart has had that for a low price since it was released.

I wonder why some stores don't have them? Could it be that it's because of the geographic location they are in or just a store managers preference?

Neither of my local Wal-marts are located in particularly high income areas. They are both in small sized, country/redneck kinda towns. The store without the bin actually could be considered to be in the nicer, more "uppity" area to live with a much higher population. The store with the bin also has a high population frequent it, but it's a "high" of a different kind.

Yeah, I live in a small "redneckish" town. Thr blu-ray section is very small and I actually get looks from folks when I'm just looking at the Blu-rays (looking like I'm stuck up or something lol). I know there are some folks somewhere here who are like me because exclusives tend to sell out quickly (or maybe my store doesn't get many to begin with ). I don't know.

Went through the trash bag to find the wrapping and it did indeed have the label you mentioned on it, I need to be careful in future and make sure I have my reading glasses on, all I saw when at the store was VUDU in big letters and assumed it had a digital copy.

Doesn't appear so. Blu-Ray.com only lists two versions: Blu-Ray + DVD and Blu-only.
