Does the set include a bonus discs for the documentary or are they spread among the episodes? as I am just wondering if the eventual standard release will include all the disc based extras or if they like the Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 releases will keep the extras exclusive to the deluxe edition.

So easy to omit that disc if they so wish on any cheap reissue. There aren't any of the episodes on that disc which would require them to master a new disc or include this one with extras.

That is what they normally do. Omit any discs which only have extras on.

Thanks for the clarification, very likely a standard release will drop that fifth disc then so will have to look into getting this set sooner than I planned.

I hope not. The disc contents aren't explicitly advertised as deluxe exclusives like the bonus discs for Scarlet and 90 were

Surprised to find Defence of the Realm includes a booklet, with a new essay from Neil Sinyard. Also a few new extras on there too not mentioned on the site.

Received The Monster today. I've had two dispatch emails on consecutive days, so presumably Dark Eyes of London will be here soon.

It is saying last items of stock at moment, so if want the booklet etc, might not be available soon.

The Monster was in my letterbox too. Free delivery and well over a week earlier than the street date. Nice!

I'm looking forward to watching The Monster again. I saw it once over a decade ago. All I remember is that is was sleazy and utterly hatstand.

Perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Utterly hatstand????!!!????

When i were a nipper we said things like 'cool' and 'wicked' and 'ace'. Basically we said whatever Sophie Aldred said. Never in our wildest teen fantasies did we ever even dare describe something as 'hatstand'.
'Bad', 'ripping', top drawer', jolly good show', but it were never ever hatstand. We wouldnt dare go that far. I still daren't.

You have to admit, though, that while it has its moments, it's a pretty hatstand film overall.

Bordering on the coat-rack at times.
