I've had a load of price drop notifications from NotifyPrice as of the past hour or so but the links redirect to the older dvd releases instead of their bd counterparts. Trying to access the bd editions through wow directly I get the same result.

EDIT: Another batch of notifications, looks like things are returning to normal. Some type of glitch, I reckon.

I've got a few things sitting at £15.17 on my wish list and it's driving me insane, just a few more pence!

Ordered Zombie (Flesh Eaters) which I was going to order anyway, as a test to see if paying by credit card really does strip off the VAT and I got charged the whole amount as per my invoice. Therefore I'm waiting for the 17p to come off these items lol...

Going by the UPC, it's the only US item and it's recorded in the bluray.com database as region free which would be typical of worldwide Universal title

My copy of Notorious (Criterion) has shipped and Wow didn't add VAT according to my credit card. Though I pre-ordered back in October

For the past few weeks I constantly get the message
Quote:
It appears you are accessing WOW HD from United States. Would you prefer to shop using the US Dollar?
I'm not, or doing anything that might make this appear so and it's quite an annoying banner which keeps coming back unless I pretend I'm in the US. Is anyone else getting this?

When I've been to Russia over last New Year's Eve, I was not able to access wowhd.de, neither over the hotel wi-fi, nor over mobile internet. Only via VPN I was able to place an order. So it seems that either wowhd is blocked by the Russian government, or wowhd deliberately blocks visits from Russian IPs. Either way, I find it quite funny.

The recent Warner Archives, Judgment Night, Giant Behemoth & next week's two Tarzan's have dropped under the £15 limit.

The company I work for completely blocks anything from Russia and China. Mostly due to IP being stolen.

I don't wish to go over all the details again,as it has already been discussed at length here previously, but i feel like i should maybe be prioritising my spending on wow imports over the next month or two,in case of the possibility that the under £15 low value VAT exemption ends as soon as, or maybe shortly after we leave the EU.

If Brexit does indeed go through I want to see the customs limit lifted or better yet have physical media exempt from VAT and customs duty. A man can dream eh?

I believe the thinking is that they need to increase tax revenues to pay for the extra spending on things like the NHS etc,not reduce them.

I suppose scrapping the exemption as soon as the opportunity arises could also be seen as more environmentally friendly etc.

But yes,it's nice to dream

Severin's upcoming release of All The Colors Of The Dark briefly went down to £14.14 this morning. Managed to stick an order in before it went back up to over £18. Looks to be a lot better than the Shameless release!

Jammy bugger! I paid £21.90 for my copy with the 20% VAT.

Have you noticed anything funny going on with your account history recently? I logged in this morning, and I noticed that all of my previous orders from 2018 and my current unfulfilled orders had completely vanished. They're back now, but I was panicking for a while.
