It's like when I pay myself $500 dollars. I am now $500 richer than I was before I paid myself that $500 dollars.

Wouldn’t it have to be bought by Amazon or Netflix to gain a huge profit straight up
It's Universal saying they're going to make enough with subscriptions and recurring revenue to not worry about box office.

Or what I've been saying for the past year plus lol

We are very much looking forward to seeing it in my ht.
Righteous!!

I've watched with, and introduced this series to, many friends over the years. With my daughter, I've decided to keep her from all the installments except for this timeline. We've been anxiously awaiting KILLS since we left the theater after H18 and will hopefully be back in cinema to see the final chapter.

My theater seats are a little closer to my 120" screen than you sit, and I'm also rocking an 11 channel setup (with 4 subs and transducers built into the chairs). I've read conflicting reports about PEACOCK's ability to present in 4K and ATMOS but I'm holding out hope that we'll be able to strap this one on with all the bells and whistles come the 15..

Absolutely brother. Just hope Peacock comes through. At the very least it will be DD+ which we can covert to 11ch. Need to stock up on the Pumpkin beer.

I know right. This decision by Blum is extremely stupid. He's literally sabotaging the movie's box office.

Personally I wasn't planning to go to the theaters anyway, so this ending up on Peacock does make me happy asf. It's still a dumb move by Blum though.

So, here's a question for all Halloween connoisseurs:

Not having enough time to binge the whole series before this one opens, which movies are essential viewing before watching this one?

I'm thinking only the first one and the last (2018) one?

Personally I would go with this list. IMO these are the best films.
Halloween 1978, Halloween II 1981, Halloween 4, and Halloween H20.

I would also include Halloween 2018 since Kills is a sequel to it.

For this new timeline, 1 and 2018 are the only ones you really need to watch before Kills.

Yeah I didn't mean the best of the lot but just whatever helps make sense of stuff. I know from the trailer a bunch of characters from the first one will show up.

All you need to watch is the original and the one from 2018. As those are the only ones in this timeline that matters.

Timeline wise yeah the only ones you need is H1, are 2018.

The reason I included the other ones is because some ideas in these new films are pulled from the previous films.

But yeah regarding the current timeline it's H1, 2018, and Kills.

Just the first and 2018 one are essential for THIS new timeline. Don't let others confuse you or put off track. If you eventually have time and like the movies, then watch II, 4, or II and H20.

Skip it, watch a series of movies that know what a timeline is like Hellraiser.
