The War Room is one of my favorite documentaries. Glad to see that one released on Blu.

'A Night to Remember' is also getting a re-release because, on its page, it says 'New high-definition digital restoration, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack on the Blu-ray edition'

I feel bad, nothing's really screaming at me, gotta buy, or blind buy. I'll have to watch some of these first before I make any commitments, although Letter Never Sent could be a strong possible future order.

With Last Temptation, Brief Encounter and Letter Never Sent, March completely obliterates a really weak February.

So far so good ! Letter Never Sent was an amazing surprise in addition to the amazing Lean/Coward set ! Have never seen War Room but is looks interesting and more documentaries are always needed. The Last Temptation of Christ and A Night to Remember were pretty well known so no surprise there but still great upgrades. Overall, March has been the best month so far . January was pretty meh, February kicked it up and March is amazing. The only saddening thing about all of this is that Letter Never Sent is one of those bare-bones editions. A Kalatozov film deserves better .

The film from what was then the Soviet Union looks very interesting. That one will be a definite pre-order. (love the cover art)

Too bad it has no supplements.

Personally, I'd much rather have no supplements if it means a $10 cheaper price on every disc. I got over watching supplements back in the laserdisc days. But that's just me.

I just hope the missing line of dialogue from the Last Temptation DVD has been re-inserted. Weird seeing Keitel's lips move and no words coming out.

No Chaplin but the David Lean set was a very nice surprise. I guess I am the only one happy about it but that's enough for me

In the case of this film, I agree. Also since he has another film (Cranes) that will most likely have what you seek in features with an upgrade anyways. I love these different price points.

Damnit. I could've sworn I checked Amazon and I thought that was already out of print. I bought like 6-8 months ago off eBay for about $45.

But yeah, get it.

The Lean set is bit higher than my liking. I'll keep my eye on Amazon for another Anatomy of a Murder/World on a Wire-like listing.

Anatomy of a Murder does not make for a weak February for me.

Btw: I'm all in for A Night to Remember! *jumps into a tub of ice-cold water*

I remember reading the novel as a kid. Is Night to Remember as good as the book? Shouldn't be to hard to foul up.

Also, all of the recent "Eclipse on Blu-ray" discussion and these bare-bones mainline films make me wonder why Criterion doesn't do bare bones Blu-rays of the Essential Art House line.
With no new Essential Art House titles announced lately, I'm thinking that these newer bare bone releases are taking the place of that line.
