Think back to the first film. He mentions that he loves kids, and he's extremely concerned for Lex and Tim when the T. rex is attacking their car (even prior to that, when asking if they're scared). Even more visibly concerned than Grant. Why couldn't he adopt a child and care for her? |

Malcolm is shown as someone who loves kids and the only reason why he goes to Isla Sorna is because of how much he cares for Sarah. He's a nice, caring man. Remember when he almost sacrificed himself to save two kids he didn't even know?

Here's a photo of my self 10 year's ago. Pasty skin, but fuller lips and, a wider nose as a result of West African ethnic ancestry. So please shut up Noremac.
Cause there's literally kids everyday that have to emotionally endure saying that person can't be your parent cause of this nonsense humanity can be whittled down to skin colour! Cheers ![]() |

Who says he hasn't? It could be all his other kids are all grown up and don't need taking care of. Or it could the mother wants him to have nothing to do with their child. It happens.

Exactly. Which means he most likely doesn’t really care about these kids. And he’s on a lookout for more ex Mrs. Malcolms. I took the line from JP1 as meaning that he loves making the kids, when he said he loves kids. Because he adds, same thing with wives, for that matter. Which goes completely out of character to be taking care of an adoptive or a stepdaughter in JP2.

You questioned his characters daughter being legitimate because she's got black skin, and he's white. You brought the "race" stuff into it. |

TRIVIA---Sean Connery and Sam Neill starred in THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. The two almost reunited for JURASSIC PARK when Steven Spielberg offered the John Hammond role to Connery. Spielberg and Connery worked together in INDIANA JONES AND THE LAST CRUSADE, and Connery was good friends with JURASSIC PARK author Michael Crichton, who directed Connery in THE GREAT TRAIN ROBBERY. However, Connery wanted too much money, so Richard Attenborough starred with Neill in JURASSIC PARK instead of Connery.

They could easily have addressed all this in the film by having Eddie ask Malcolm why he, a Jewish dude, has a fully black kid. To which Malcolm replies:
'Life finds a way' ![]() |

Only that it makes it silly for him to be taking care of a stepdaughter. You made this spin about race from the get go and derailed the conversation. Troll on man
