Its totally worth it. It sounds like you might also get a video update on Bill's condition on DF's facebook page if you stay up, and I think all of us who like these films are concerned about Bill - will be good to see him okay after a very perilous accident, which while the outcome was serious could have had far more dire consequences.

THE LATEST from DARK FORCE:
Banana Man aka Bill Olsen remains hospitalized in very serious condition. We will bring you the actual news as we receive it. He was hospitalized after a bad fall in the bathroom which was not exaggerated at all. It has now been confirmed he was trapped in the bathroom between the toilet and the tub for over 8 hours. His right hand was and remains paralyzed from the incident. To make matters worse he also has several very serious health conditions that they are trying to deal with. Due to this very grave situation Code Red is also in a very unstable state. AT THIS TIME WE CANNOT GUARANTEE AVAILABILITY ON ANY OF THE CODE RED TITLES. This will not change until the situation with Bill improves.
We will re-open the Dark Force Superstore in approximately one hour with some additional inventory of SCREAMS OF A WINTER NIGHT. We will also post the INTERVIEW WITH BANANA MAN from his hospital bed that took place late last night with DARK FORCE.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to this emergency we are very short on staff. Although we are still trying to ship everything out as quickly as possible expect some delays with your order. I wish Bill the best and hope he gets better, but DF needs to drop the amateur act.

Once you reach, on average, your forties, and older relatives start being hospitalized with regularity, you get to hear them complain about how many people expect them to take time to read their cards, and expect confirmation of receipt and a thank you. They don't show up or do anything of actual value, just ask you to read something far less interesting than any book you could pick up. My favorite, from an elderly relative about a week before he died, "If they actually gave a s#!t, it'd be a cigar", in reference to a card that sang a little song when he opened it. When I got sick enough to be in the hospital, I remember thinking flowers would be nice, the room was dour, someone stopping by with a computer to show me a movie, which people then did, anything but homework, hence the comment about youth.


Also, DD just announced the store will open in about 13 more minutes, then made a Star Trek reference. (Always appreciated.) He will be opening the store presently, however, he also confirmed that this batch is smaller, owing to Bill's condition. Remember, if you can't order today, if it sells out again, it will be available soon and the only way to get that money to Bill is to order from his exclusive distributor. In other words, please don't buy from scalpers. Chris had a good idea, buy from Bill and David for yourself and others, not to sell on ebay.

Actually, DD has asked that people not flood the store, but buy at their leisure, reminding everyone that there are a limited number of copies up right now but more will be streaming in, over time.
