We’re not solely a physical release company.
It’s not just CDs....we haven’t released any films on DVD, either. |

When I'm home I like to play records and I use my phone when I'm out and about. Any CD I buy these days immediately gets ripped to FLAC/MP3 and the CD is guaranteed to never get touched again, I'm better off to just buy a download than a CD. I'll buy the vinyl regardless, I've bought tons that don't include downloads. Just putting it out there that if a download can reasonably be included, it would be appreciated by some. |

My guess is that March 2 is the "official" release date, but if they get them before then, they'll ship out early. |

Now I personally have no interest in collecting cassettes, but considering how much stuff from our era has been brought back for nostalgia reasons, I can easily see why cassettes would be popular too. CDs didn't really start to take off where I was until about 1990. |

There have been COVID-related delays on both JEREMY and SMILE, unfortunately. JEREMY was delayed a month and now the same has happened for SMILE. SMILE will now be shipping via VS in April and everywhere else in May. RANCHO DELUXE and WALKING THE EDGE will follow.

Your COVID related delays are terrible. I bet they're frustrating on a business and personal level.
Hopefully there are no more major delays. The excellent work you do along with the films you choose has me very excited to see what else you bring to Blu-ray. |

JAH13, would Fun City consider doing other studio deals in the future? Universal seems to be the only other one that licences out just about anything and allows new transfers by third parties. Sony hasn't done new deals with anyone and don't allow labels to do their own scans/transfers.
I believe Paramount and 20th Century Disney have closed off licencing deals for the time being, while Warner sometimes licences out select titles to Criterion and Shout Factory. Lionsgate still aren't open to any mass licencing deals (aside a few to Criterion like Amores Perros), though that could change depending on how COVID affects their release output and overall debt. |

Certainly. You've got a pretty good lay of the land with regards to studios and licensing at the moment. Hopefully there will be more FCE releases of studio titles before too long.

What Lionsgate properties do you think would be compatible with Fun City? I wish they could tackle great titles like Metroland, Last Night, 8 1/2 Women, and The Rules of Attraction. They own a lot of great pre-90's films at this point, too, I believe. |

I ordered one of the last copies, too. There were only 8 left. It was a blind buy for me, but FOMO kicked in. Fans have been saying it's a good movie, though.
