Just came back from WW. Movie was great. Gal did a wonderful job as Diana. I did not think 3rd act was over the top as some said. I think it had good balance of CGI and human emotion. Can't wait until Blu Ray is released.

![]() They are the Cuts that should of played in the Theaters, run time be damned and Suicide Squad's Extended Cut is still well with-in a normal run-time. |

I saw the film yesterday, it was good, Gal Gadot & Chris Pine did really well in their roles and had good chemistry together. Although,
[Show spoiler] If I were to rank the films though it would be: Man of Steel Wonder Woman Batman v Superman [Theatrical] Suicide Squad [Theatrical] |

Fantastic movie, best DC one yet, Gal was superb, a revelation in the role. I hope she gets to shine like this in Justice League. The action was amazing, the FX were good, the characters were a lot of fun. The tone was perfect and a great balance between action and drama. Absolutely loved it. The 3D was really good too, can't wait to pick this up on 3D blu.

Unfortunately this film felt flat. The dialog between characters was quite soft. Following DC films since Man of Steel, there has been an abundance amount of CGI / "Green Screen" usage throughout the productions of these films and it's quite distracting. There was noticeably excessive "long shots" and "pauses" throughout the film that seemed to slow the rhythm of the film. WW didn't seem as flat as Suicide Squad, but flat none the less. Even before viewing the first trailer, I knew DC was influenced by Captain America: The First Avenger. Since the beginning of production, photos of the characters posing in WWI gear (the same, single photo, Bruce Wayne found of Diana in BvS) was a dead giveaway. It was obvious to DC that a similar story and structure would work for WW. I've been hesitant about seeing Justice League, and had high hopes since I've seen and purchased Man of Steel, but after viewing Batman v Superman, Suicide Squad, and Wonder Woman in the theater, I'm not interested in owning either films; I'm officially done with DC.
It's frustrating to see WB move in such a difference direct since the ending of Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy, but that's not his concern, nor was it for many others that came before him. As a fan, it's unfortunate that you could be so heavily invested in a film franchise, only to see all of your indulgences flushed down a digital toilet, due to some films that didn't live up to your own expectations. I guess that's how difficult it is or can be in creating a whole new film universe. Reminds me of why you would stop following a curtain franchise(s), they just don't live up to one's interests for very long ('Furious', 'Jurassic', 'Pirates', 'Transformers', etc.). #1 - Man of Steel . . #2 - Batman v Superman #3 - Wonder Woman . . #4 - Suicide Squad Last edited by Sylentwolf; 06-05-2017 at 07:29 AM. |

Going back at 6pm (GMT) for my second viewing. Not sure if it has been mentioned here already but did anyone else think the new DC logo thingy was cool? Does anyone have good quality images of it?

This was such a wonder to behold. The movie was a breath of fresh air, and didn't once put spectacle over heart. I also take everything what I said about Gal back, she can act! This is a movie I could see endless times in the theater, and I haven't felt that way about a film in years.
1.WW 2. BvS 3. Suicide Squad 4. MOS |

Really, really liked it, but it still doesn't really reach the heights of Man of Steel or the extended cut of Batman v Superman (it was better than that film's theatrical version at least).
1. Man of Steel 2. Batman v Superman: Ultimate Edition 3. Wonder Woman 4. Batman v Superman: Theatrical Edition 5. Suicide Squad |
