I have This is the End in my rental queue. Looking forward to your thoughts on it.

Amen, brotha.
This is the End is one of the funniest films I've ever seen.

It's awesome, Travis. Almost as good as This is the End.

Fan credits: At the end of the regular credits, for the extended version, there is a list of people that runs for about 20 minutes after the regular credits which are the fan credits. I'm not sure if you have to pay to be listed, but if you joined the club, your name gets listed at the end of the film as a fan. There are literally thousands of people listed.

I just watched: "This is the End" again, with one of my best friends, and it was even more fun this time.

I just found this about the LotR movie membership:

"The cost of a one-year charter membership is $39.95US; $69.95US for two years; and $99.95US for three. Two-year charter members will appear in the credits of the DVDs for the first two films in the trilogy; three-year charter members will appear in the credits of all three films. International memberships will also be available."

http://archives.theonering.net/perl/...w/8/1003325519

It's definitely the drugs.

Interesting. Hopefully the list you had of the extra times for the first trilogy did NOT include the 15-20 mins of "Fan Credits".

Now I will admit that I am a fan of certain mind altering substances from time to time, but I guarantee the times that I listed for the films are correct, within a closest to 30 seconds time measurement for each, not counting any of the end credits.

Total theatrical runtime without end credits: 8 hours 54 minutes.
Total extended runtime without end credits: 10 hours 57 minutes.
Total difference in runtime without end credits: 2 hours 3 minutes.

You can take that to the bank mister, though they won't give you any money for it.

I also have it broken down to disc runtimes for the extended edition:

FotR1: 1:45:30
FotR2: 1:35:00

TTT1: 1:46:30
TTT2: 1:48:30

RotK1: 2:07:30
RotK2: 1:54:00

If you watch just the first three discs, it's 5 hours 7 minutes. The last three discs are 5 hours 50 minutes.

Here is Star Wars, to the closest minute, not including end credits:

EI: 2hr 10min
EII: 2hr 16min
EIII: 2hr 14min
EIV: 2hr
EV: 2hr 2min
EVI: 2hr 8min

Total without end credits: 12hr 50min.

No, I was just kidding. Halloween is one of the most iconic slasher movies ever made. This is the End is freaking hilarious as hell though, if you enjoy very low brow humor like I do.

Ginger Baker is a freakin' monster. I would like to check that doc out, but I doubt I'll buy it. Documentaries in general don't have much replay value for me, but I would like to see it.
