Yea, I heard/read about that over the last couple of years. I'll definitely get it eventually, but I'm sure you can rent it/Netflix it.

** Hmmm, doesn't show available Here yet (U.S.), but Amazon.UK has it if anyone wants to check it out (£12.94). Amazon does have it on DVD though (came out in May), for $12.68 currently

Just picked this up today:

I hadn't seen it in a very long time and really enjoyed it. The A/V was pretty good too for an early 90's drama.

I also watched this wacky movie:

I really love the yodeling and banjo music.

GREAT movie & I'll be picking it up when the price goes down a bit (& it will). Nice to see it receive Much Higher marks for PQ & AQ (4/5 for both), over the Original version, which received very poor marks then (2/5 for PQ, 3/5 for AQ

). Nice to see a healthy selection of "bonus material" as well, including a Director & Actor Commentary track, featuring Mr. Conversationalist, Tommy Lee Jones

Yea, & seeing as Amazon (here) only has it on DVD for now, I "might" get it when it goes below $10, which will prob be within 3-6 months. BUT, per my post above, the UK blu' shows a run-time of 102 minutes, & Amazon's DVD comes up as just 74 minutes.

So I may just wait it out & get that blu-ray when it drops down nice n' low

That's one of my absolute favourite movies.Watches this on a regular basis.Strange that the sequel was such a dud though-and not just in comparison.

Have a recommendation if you're in the mood for creepy movies:The Vanishing.It's a dutch movie,but you'll find one with english subtitles. Very good,and gets very creepy towards the end.Heard there was an american remake of it,but that has gotten terrible reviews.

Like pretty much all of the Coens' films, it's highly quotable. I love the line where the cops are questioning Nathan Arizona about what his kid was wearing, and he said "his damn jammies", and when he asked what they looked like he says "I don't know, they got Yodas and shit on 'em".

Oh yeah, Ray Luzier is awesome. I have an album by bassist Billy Sheehan called Cosmic Troubador with him on drums and it really rocks.

It's kind of jazz/rock and has some really interesting stuff on it.

What's up Wabo? I hope you like it as much as I did. It has some extremely low-brow humor, but really dig that kind of stuff. I think it's one of the most hilarious movies I've seen in years. Some of the funniest stuff to me is not even the crazy over the top stuff in the movie, it's more the little off-handed conversations that they have. As long as you don't mind some pretty filthy craziness, I think you'll love it!

Often the people putting in the specs here don't know whether it is Traditional Mandarin, Simplified Mandarin, or Cantonese, so often the specs are wrong. Will look like this, or the first 4 characters.
