Ah, I preordered the 4K for store pickup (I don't have a 4K tv/ player yet but I plan to eventually, and this film definitely meets the criteria of being worthy of that extra disc) so I'll see if they'll be willing to adjust the price. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I saw the steelbook and died a little, but since I planned on getting the extra disc, I decided to restrain. But no, my point is.. in this case, I'm completely cool with buyers of the 4K taking slips off the regular. It's not like store employees don't already do that for no reason, and I feel like those paying the premium are more deserving of the premium packaging... especially considering it's nothing but a really cheap Eco-case that's not gonna protect your artwork at all. Idk, just my opinion.

Came in today from Screen Archives Entertainment. I didn't get it for the TT sale, but seeing as how it is now down to 200 copies or less left I went ahead and bit. Never seen it, but I do love fantasy adventure so... yeah. I slipped it into an extra clear case I had ordered from TT and it looks amazing.

Is the Revenant slip exclusive to somwhere? I went to Best Buy on release day and they had a ton of copies in stock, but no slips.

No, but it seems to very hit and miss at all the retailers. Seems to be all the ones that have them have it, or the ones that don't just simply do not. I.E. Your Best Buy. Haven't read any postings from users here saying half the copies had them and half didn't.
